The reason for this not so great review is due to the deceptive pricing tactics. They lure you in with cheap 87 gas but jack up the mid and premium-grade fuels. Also, as a note for all gas stations in 2021, stop having a 10 cent price increase for credit cards. For example: if it costs $3.50 cash per gallon for premium-grade (92+) and $3.60 card per gallon for the same grade, that is almost a 2.8% increase in price. I understand why they charge more, because credit card processors charge a percentage fee - BUT no major card processor charge that amount. It is most often 2.29%. Sure, roughly 0.5% doesn't sound like a lot, but how many gallons of gas do you buy per month on average? How many customers does the gas station get per month? Do the math. This is simply price gouging/profiting off of an already-painful processing fee.

I'd rather fill up at Costco because, more often than not, it's ALWAYS cheaper but not having a Costco card, AND being Canadian, means having to find the next best thing. Pilot generally IS that next best thing. There may be times where other stations are cheaper but Pilot usually hovers near the top. It's worth it for me to drive the additional 14 miles down I-5 because the difference between Blaine and Ferndale is "Off the charts". And easy to get to? You bet. Once you take Exit 262 you're practically there. Twelve pumps, huge lot, clean washrooms, friendly staff and a few fast food outlets has made, and will continue to make, this one of my top choices when it comes to filling up. This unless I get myself a Costco card or find another station whose price is far superior AT THE TIME OF FILL. Remember, I am Canadian.

I went all the way down there to save money. I know for a fact that I pushed the REGULAR button. By the time my tank was full, I thought it cost a lot more than usual and it WAS! Some how it switched to PREMIUM instead. Well, at least I'll see if I notice a difference with this tank aside from the quarter per gallon more it cost.
